TEEN COMPANY CLASS - Teens in TV

Kismet Theatre Academy’s Teen Company Class is now taking registrations for Fall 2019. Join instructor Tarah Sullivan for a fun filled examination on Teens in TV. Participants will compare scripts from the 80’s and 90’s to what we see on TV today. Think The Facts of Life vs Pretty little Liars, Degrassi then vs. Degrassi now or Dawson’s Creek vs. Stranger Things.

Through discussion and scene acting we will explore how Teens are represented on TV. Has it changed since the 80’s? Or are the themes universal? What shows hit the mark and what shows have missed it entirely.

A showcase of their favourite scenes will run in December. Class runs until December 17th.

Age: 13-18 yr olds

September 10th, 2019-Dec 2019
Tuesdays: 6:30-8:30pm

$100/month
